Yesterday I found a little flowers that I used to make rings and I though that was a good idea to make some flowers for pins, I stitched and I use this fantastic glue E6000 I recommend it 100% is great for almost anything.

I start to use new materials on my flowers, organza, felt and some beautiful buttons. With fantasy and sense of colors could be possible to make all these combinations. I had been test many materials, like fabric, cotton, wool, and some kind of silk.

Finally I finish my pillow with all those "retro" applique on felt using different kind of pinks. I love this color and honestly I don't use it often on myself but I love to see in others, also in my creations, is soft, relaxing and very feminine. Playing a little bit with forms and colors here is the result.

Today I add a new link to my blog Intres is a great artist from Spain she made the most beautiful trees and huts on Felt, she's great working with felt.

Today I would like to talk about my new and first medallions, this is the first time that I work with wood but honestly this was an accident (like all the experiments) mounts ago I bought these rings

from popcorntree from Italy she call this wood "woodbeech" (The wood is called "Beech" and it is a medium hard kind of wood 100% Italian wood!), well I bought those to make again this purse but nothing, the rings were too small fot my bag, so I decided to use them as frame for my medallions, with a piece of linen and some of my little tiny felt flowers I made this medallions.

Spring, is inspiration for everyone, is almost here two more days and we are finally I start to work very hard with my flowers, I had been working in many new designs, I got many inpiration from other artist that I meet in Vincenza in Italy, with colors, materials and many many forms.

this one was inspired from K Saito my favorite quilting artist from Japan. I cut the leaves and I made some ebroidery around them here some details.

I just learn to make these little tiny flowers, are made with fabric in both sides back and front, they are fantastic because have a tridimentional look.

Today is a rainy day so I am working on my bags and what a great moment to make a bag with this new appliqué.

I will mix with one of my felt appliques that I had been made. and you will see what a great bag I'm going to make.

I just made the Kimberly bag from Amy Butler pattern and I found it difficult, I didn't use her fabrics because I couldn't find it in Italy, but I would love try it again.

The most difficult step on this process was the button of the bag. The bag is big but enough to carry anything you want.

The colors are fantastic, great contrast lemon with red (inside), sorry but I stitch again my favorite patch.

Sewing Machine applique

Today I made a course where I learn how to make appliqué with sewing Machine, I use this machine wish I love, and I hope I can buy it some day. I really love it.

This course was very helpful because I use so much applique on my creations.

On this I call invisible stitch, because you can't see anything in front.

the number 2 is my favorite because looks like you make it by hand.

And here is the last one, where I use iron on paper on it, and the stitch is more decorative.

I think I need to practice a little bit more, but on my experience the most difficult on this is the little corners or angles. I enjoy so much this course.

Me encanta el Lino y en Florencia habia comprado unos anillos de madera que me servian perfectamente para unas agarraderas para una bolsa asi que me puse a buscar ideas, asi que me puse manos a la obra a hacer todas esta hojitas, que parecian justamente caidas de un arbol en pleno Otoño, no hay mejor material que el lino para darles vida. Y finalmente este es el resultado.

Sin lugar a dudas fue un trabajo de mas de una semana pero satisfactorio al final, porque sinceramente me encanto el resultado final.

My mother made this shawll many many years ago, and she told me that she got that little needle, at the beggining I thought that it was kind of knitte but not this works with crochet, here you can see a video how it works, any way I will try to make some tutorial to show how to make the daysies too. I'm in San Diego California, visiting my family and probably I will stay more that three monts from now, :( I really miss my home in Tuscany and my little Toribio who died two weeks ago I really miss him.

Since I'm in USA I'm traying to find new materials to work with and new things to create.

This is a beautiful tote handmade 100% with a fatastic embroidery little garden on it. Using a great mini buttons.

So many little squares but it was fun work on this Tote, old fashion style but at the same time beautiful and usefull Bag.

LITTLE GARDEN POUCH

I love to create with flowers, and this time is embroidery what I add it. This is a great pouch embellished with felt. All my bags and pouches are linen with cotton fabrics with a beatiful pattersn.

CRAZY QUILT

Actually is not the original Crazy quilt, but is a mix of many technics, mola (art form), quilt, embroidery and patchwork. It was really dificult to make it but I thing the results are really good. Front and back faces are the same.

Great crooked line pattern!!! -- this a nice comment for this bag of my friend Laurraine who also made a lovely patchwork bags.

And also I have to mention my mother's bag I create this tote for her because she wanted something small for some of her magazines :) She love it.

LINO

This bag is an original machine embroidery on the fabric, I really love the color and the material. The size is great to carrie everything on it.

NON JUST PATCHWORK

This is a Tote bag with a big handles, also on this bag I add some embrodery with little buttons and I quilted. Great for your magazines or use it as a shopping bag.

Walking through the little streets in Florence, this fabric caught my eye. I fell in love with it when I saw it in the window shop. It spoke to me as being fabric that would be perfect for making something special, beautiful and useful. And here it is, a magazine bag, or maybe a shopping bag, adorned with fantastic pins I also created.

The other pin in the picture (the red pin) is made by my friend Kima from Kup Kup who is from Spain. She makes adorable things from felt.

My obsession...fabrics! I love them and now I have that passion for Japanese fabric (and I don't just mean Japanese patterns). I love some Japanese designers! A good example of this is this bag. I made it with Saito fabrics. I love just them, by the way.

this bag with I should start to talking about the flower because I made this bag FOR this flower (sounds strange but it's the true). Last week I took a course to make this flower. It looks difficult but is not. It takes time but is absolutely fun make! So the thing is, when I made this flower, I thought it would be perfect as brouche. But I found it would also be perfect to adorn a bag. I decided AAAHH!!! I need to make a bag for this flower! I thought it should be something contemporary and something light (because we are almost in spring). So I designedJapanese fabric on the outside and inside. And I added a very simple adornment it too - some Ethnic beads as a final touch.

In the last week I had been so busy on my work that's why I don't have new creations, but the next week I will promise make a little bit more. But with so much work I did this purse.

I had been working also with my first technic quilt and I used this awesome fabric with a great colors blue, red and withe, Many people love to use quilting not just to make quilts, I do creating some purses and pouch in this case.

I love Tuscany where I live and where I got so many inspirations, and now I made this fantastic bag with some Cipress very Cyncontemporary.

I had been working with this color ..... PINK and FIUCSIA and more pink. Adorable on this fantastic felt I wish this seasson never end. Here are some of my lastest creations on Pink.

Here are some of my new shapes, new version with also new flowers. I add some details. Also in the last days I'm starting to using more beads on my flowers where I found that looks adorable on them.

And this is my last one, the number one of this year 2007. Yaay I start with flowers again. Why I like them that much, I will try to work with other materials and embellishments I promise. :)

Here is one of my lastest creation of knitting I really love the colors for me is so special an classic, gray with a little red and black. The handles was made with GUARDAPAMPA that is a very strong ribbon made in Argentina.

He decidido llamar a este lindisima bolsa "Clarabella" es un estilo super lindo y muy practico, es ya la segunda vez que utilizo las asas en bambu o rattan y tengo que decir que son verdaderamente practicas, sin embargo disfruto mas y me divierto mas haciendo mis propias asas, en este caso use el mismo adorado liston Vintage que encontre en una vieja merceria creo que si regreso al mismo lugar encuentro alguna otra maravilla del estilo. Pero ahora voy a tratar de continuar a trabajar con otros matariales y estilos mas versatiles dado que en este mundo hay gustos y colores para escoger y discutir. :)

I had been walking around looking an a nice and old notions store here in Italy and some days ago accidental I found a nice and a big one and I can say that they are absolutly vintage, great items, I got incredibles ideas from there, I wish to have more time to create more and more.

In my discovery, this fantastic ribbon, I really love the colors and It match perfect with any of my felts.

Actually I create this adorable tote, with a rattan handles, and with a silk insidel.
I think this is much that unique and fine piece.

By the way, my friend Rosy from Mexico send me a beautiful yarn on very brilliant colors (tradiotional from Mexico) and I wanted to make something diferent and unique, so finally I'm going to use my TRICOT which I found in a very old "Merceria" in down town of Florence, where I will try to take some pictures, because I love that place, the guy is so funny. I don't know how many bottons they have on it, I can't inmagine the inventarie day. Here is my tricot work.... which is part of my bag.

This is just the Title of a great color, I found this yarn in my last visit to my favorite yarn in down town Florence and is totally fantasti be there, is a very old business where you can find four old ladys who help you with points, and materials. Well they suggest to work with this color, and I decided to make this purse in my trip to "Campagna" when I came back I decide to put something into something that contracts the colors and I pick orange, in Fiesole in a little little store I found this flower I found so many colors but I needed THAT color for my chocolate bag. Finalmente una coleccion completa de verdes y colores de otono, me ha gustado muchisimo trabajar con este Fieltro y por supuesto con nuevos cortes, han sido dos semanas muy ocupadas pero muy satisfactorias, porque han gustado bastante estas bolsitas. I had been work with this great color. Green avocado, material Felt 100% wool. Many appliqué and so much fun.

Finally my favourite season almost is here, that’s why my inspiration is absolutely FALL I mean leaves, browns and greens colours, warm materials etc. etc.

I have to say that work with this Felt is very difficult because is hard and not flexible so I have to manipulate with some difficulties, but belive it is a great option aboslutly adorable and fantastic texture. I had been so busy because this collection is special handmade for a show, near to where I live Poggio a Caiano is going to show a Market and this is my first show so I’m so exited about it. I hope can make some contacts and some sells of course. At least I will have fun.

Well please cross your fingers for me because I need see if my ART and CRAFT are acceptable, maybe fashionable, will see. In the meat time all my new creations you can see it as well on my shop.

Que belleza que llega el Otono, se que es muy pronto para decirlo pero es la estacion que mas me gusta y gracias a eso, estoy preparando una serie de creaciones justo para esa epoca, de buen clima, de colores acogedores, y de calor humano.

Esta bolsa la hice con la ilusion de que saliera un poco mas grande pero asi de este preciso tamano me encanto, justo tengo que hacer el mismo modelo pero en color ciruela. Vere que lindo puede quedar.

No hay nada como un buen diario, lo se que lo mejor es Blogger, pero que tal si lo quieres portar para todos lados, ademas este tiene un diseno unico y genial, en los ultimos dias estoy tratando de disenar mis cortes con arboles, adoro los arboles, de diferentes tipos. Este en particular esta hecho de Fieltro.

Este diario ademas tiene un pequeno adorno con un listo Peruano de colores fantasticos. Le tengo mucho carino a este liston porque lo compre en una merceria Modenes en Emiglia Romagna de una senora de una historia fantastica, y tenia miles y miles de listones, entre ellos este fabuloso liston Peruano.

He anexado el applique en fieltro del arbol para hacerles ver el mundo de piezas que tiene, si necesitan ustedes algo similar no duden en contactarme, si no lo quieren en Fieltro o lo quieren en Papel no hay problema, lo puedo hacer igual. Ustedes pueden ver mas de mis cortes aqui.

I love my computer!!!, for that I created this case for my Laptop in order to protect it, this project was fantastic because I worked insomething bigger, laptop slave could be call it?, I got some little pieces of fabric and I start to play with colors, honestly I got to say that this was a great experiment wich I found so beatiful, takes me more time that I hope, but finally here it is. I hope you like it.

This case I consider that is multifuntional because I can use it in diferent thinks as a laptop protetion, or for this....

Yes is a little quilt inside, if I want to carrie my quilt in my car I can use it also for that.

I'm thinking in create a Kit for make this project, you can see it here on september. Or maybe I can do it COUSTUM MAKE if anyone needs something like this.

Adoro mi computadora y para eso he creado este protector de Laptop este proyecto fue fantastico y muy divertido porque trabaje en algo un poco mas grande de lo que ya he hecho y sinceramente estoy feliz de haberlo hecho, tengo que decir que se trabaja mucho porque son piesas muy pequenas, de diferentes colores de telas para patchwork o algodon. Y lo que vi es que se toma muchisimo tiempo en cortar todos esos pedasitos pero igual es divertido.

Esta fundita puede usarse como protector de la Laptop o como funda para una pequena quilt me encanto la segunda idea porque puedes usarla para viajar y se usa de cojin a la vez, woaw!!! me gustan las cosas multifuncion.

Bueno la novedad es que voy a crear un tutorial para esto y voy a vender en mi tiendita el Kit quen incluira materiales. Es decir me daran la oportunidad de cortarles la tela y escoger los disegnos. Asi que a ustedes les tocara solo coser ensamblar, bordar... ups casi nada. Bueno si se quieren evitar la fatiga me sacrifico y se las hago yo :) de paso me divierto.

This is my new creation special for a personal swap for my Italian friend Lucia she lives in a wonderful place here in Italy "Lucca" I love that city, the subjet of this swap was Black and Pink and I got this idea for the bag why don't make something diferent?, well I don't know if this is scrapbooking but looks like. :)

Fieltro, Felt, Feltro ...

Cuantas maneras de decir este lindo material que nos permite crear tantas cosas, yo lo considero fabuloso, este fin de semana hice una lindisima bolsita con algunas aplicaciones, tambien en fieltro, flores, y mas flores, esta vez combinadas con una bella mariposa con un porta sombrero, se puede tener mas elegancia? absolutamente no, para darle un toque personal a los costados le puse un poco de patchwork, aprovechando el tema, hice estos exagonos combinados en colores marrones y beige. Utilizando estas aplicaciones en fieltro que yo misma hago, haaa por cierto tengo nuevos disenos que muy pronto se los voy a mostrar.

Aqui algunos detalles...

Este fin de semana encontre en la red un magnifico recurso para todos los que hacemos manualidades, y asi aprovechar el tiempo y nuestros materiales, es un administrador donde uno puede registrar y calcular tiempos y materiales, tanto como lo hace una pequena fabriquita, es genial. Se llama craftmemo Espero sea de utilidad y lo puedan aprovechar al maximo.

Aqui les muestro dos modelos similares con disenos de applique diferentes, interiores diferentes pero con mucho en comun, una tiene los costados de patchwork en cuadros y la otra en exagonos, una tiene el interior floreado beige la otra con flores naranja, etc. Aqui podran ver los detalles.

Finally I finished this fantastic work, is just a mini pouch made it with patchwork, let me tell you is a LOT of work, I'm a beginner on this but I found that I really enjoy it is really nice to work with.

I visit my friends from Agomago to buy my fabric they have so much options and lovely colors, actually I would love to start something bigger probably my next project is going to be a tote or something similar.

Here are some details of my little patchwork pouch.

If you want to make it this pouch the most important, a lot of pieces of fabric for quilt and paper, paper? yes hexagons of paper 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm. If you don't want to cut all of them you can buy them here.

I make wooden boxes and engraved most of them are for wines, I have a company the name is VINPACK and with this activity I make real my dream because I love wines and vineyards, so I design these boxes mostly for vineyards or wines companies. I see that so many crafters make their own stuff and they sell them very easy, in my personal case doesn't happen like that, some times, I really do something just to have fun, it is true that I really like to sell but if not, I can trade them, I can give them, or just keep them for my self.

This time I decide to keep this little pouch because is something special, my first patchwork pouch, and belive me was dificult did it and invested a lot of time. Just with few little pieces of fabric, I did this.

This weekend I worked with a fantastic color "Red" this time I made a notebook and a purse inspiring with a Fendi classic model.

I wanted to make something where I can use my cuts, so I used a handmade notebook and I decored with my own cuts, and some red and white fabric. Also make a book covers could be a good idea. Bur for now, this is a nice idea to make a lovely gift.

Inspiring in a Classic Fendi purse I make this one, White and Red with this particular ribbon from argentina, these ribbon is very tipical from "las pampas" in Argentina the name of these ribbon is Guardapampa, I when to Argentina two years ago, and I saw these ribbon almost in everywhere but mostly in Handbags and wallets, and the last mount a friend of mine went to Argentina and they brough me some of this fantastic ribbon.

This is my first purse, and I feel that I love to create more of this particular style, I see that so many girls use it.

Starting with stationary

In Florence you can find a lot of Stores of stationary very fashionable and artistic, Italians are so artistics for this, well on my part I make this Journal using my cuts as applique, and I found that is very easy and fun to make it. I remember an Agenda from my cousin many years ago similar but in other colors, should I consider vintage? Any way I think that the most important is using the materials that we have. I don't have to many fabrics and cut designs but I think that I can make many things with what I have. :)

I found this great combination Felt and patchwork, I love it I don’t have a lot of fabrics but I found the rite colors for this purse, I really enjoy it do this project was really fun.
Last week I make a lot of cuts, butterflies, flowers, enough to work with. In Italy is difficult to find nice and colorful fabrics but I found this shop Ago Mago where I had been learn a lot on appliqué and patchwork, this purse was inspired from a Japanese book great tool!!! But my next project hope to be something bigger, or more fashional.

I had been so busy on my weekends because I have enough time to create and design.

This time I created a pouch for niece who just has 10 years old, I hope she likes, I use some vintage material, and some of my new cuts, flowers and a butterfly, I add some embroidery on it, and some other little details just to see how it works.

Esta vez cree una bolsita para mi sobrinita quien cumple 10 anitos de edad, esperando que le guste, use una tela Vintage, y algunos de mis cortes, flores y una mariposa, hice algo de bordado en las flores, y algunos otros detalles para ver como viene, esta vez no se puede apreciar, porque lo que hice fue un trapunte en la parte de atras muy lindo que permite darle a la bolsa mas consistencia y rigidez.

Aqui algunos detalles de la bolsita ya terminada, creo que esta ideal para guardar un diario, creo que sera su primer diario, todavia no lo propongo pero sera buena idea hacerle tambien el diario.

Felt Cuts

Preparing my weekend to create more with felt this time, I made some felt cuts, animals, flowers, and something also masculine and airplane, well must be something for man also. I love brilliant colors, as a good Mexican always like to combine those fantastic colors. I like this shapes because I can combine colors, make black outline and then put inside some color, as the butterfly or the head. This time I cut everything on felt but all these designs I can also make them on paper, I found a magazine this week fantastic, scrabooking has an adorable ideas. On my next post I will put the browser is from England. Also I would like to try make the same cuts on fabric to see how it comes to use them as a appliqué, well these are appliqué too but on Felt.

I have so many designs of flowers and love flowers but I need some feedback to see what are the colors, and illustrations more acceptable. Thank you all for the good comments.

Preparando my fin de semana para crear mas con el Fieltro. Hice algunos cortes en fieltro animales, flores y algunas cosas masculinas como el aeroplano, bueno algo tengo que hacer para ninos no? Me encantan los colores brillantes, como buena mexicana siempre me gusta combinar estos fantasticos colores. Me gustan estas figuras porque puedo combinar colores, hacer las orillas en negro como contorno y poner dentro algo de color. En el caso de la mariposa o el sombrero. Esta vez corte todo en Fieltro pero todos estos disenos los puedo hacer tambien en papel o papel decorado. Encontre una revista esta semana fantastica, de Scrabooking y tiene ideas adorables. En mi siguiente post voy a poner el browser de esta revista que es Inglesa, estos cortes tambien me gustaria hacer estos cortes en telas para ver como vienen y usarlas como applique

This week I decided to work with something more difficult, and I found this fantastic victorian illustration in a old book. Working with Black felt, I cut this fantastic shape, After that I decided to put it in one of my little bags absolutely the most difficult thing was sewing as appliqué on other color felt, in this case, Pink !!! Adore this color this time is kind of brilliant but still like it.

I just finish this pouch that is not to big as the leaves one or the pink flowers, could we used as a creams bag, or bath products bag, is 9”x 10” so is perfect as a travel pouch too.

En estas fotografias no se aprecian muy bien los colores pero el color de la bolsita es rosa fuerte, o rosa brillante, que da el resalto perfecto al negro de la carita, como toque o detalle le puse unas florecitas de color rosa palido y por supuesto sin olvidar de ponerle un pendiente como accesorio, visto que es una Damita elegante :)

Working with Felt had been result really excite for me, these weekend I made this little zipper pouch with some dry leaves, I know we still are on spring but I really enjoyed work with this little leaves which also did some embroidery, I considered that most of the people who likes to work with felt sometimes is difficult to cut the figures, and always we work with the same shapes, flowers, flowers and flowers, I love flowers but we need to do something different some times, that’s why I’m working on some designs to make more perfect cuttings on Felt, could be also on paper, and leather, and fabrics too, well you will see on the future my new designs. Trabajar con Fieltro ha resultado muy excitante para mi, este fin de semana hice un pequeño bolsito con algunas hojas secas. Se que todavía estamos en primavera pero realmente disfrute trabajar con estas hojitas las cuales las borde tambien. Yo considero que muchas de las personas que trabajan con el Fieltro algunas veces tienen dificultad para cortar las figuras, y siempre trabajamos con las mismas formas, flores flores y flores. Yo adoro las flores pero necesitamos hacer algo diferente algunas veces. Por eso estoy trabajando en algunos diseños para hacer cortes perfectos con el fieltro, puede ser tambien en papel, piel o cuero, y telas tambien, pues bien, ya veran en el futuro mis nuevos disenos. Y por supuesto darles el servicio de corte de figuras. Yo puedo ayudar a haer tu trabajo mas original y diferente. Dejame hacer a mi los cortes por ti!!!!!

Inside of my handbag I just really have fun doing these but I notice that I need to closeup more on details.

I used almots 200 little felt flowers with one beat each one, fit perfect books, notebooks.
